Acupuncture works by regulating life energy (QI), which flows through pathways called meridians. This energy maintains the function of the whole body.
There are many points known as acupoints, on the meridian. Each point has specific therapeutic effects. By needling these points, acupuncture regulates the flow of the Qi and improves the function of the organ, and thus rebuilds the balance of the whole body.
